On May 3, 2023, Ms. Hester Adriana Paneras, Head of Institutional and Operational Partnership Service at UNOAU, participated on the panel at the launch of the Challenges Forum Mission Leadership Digital Tool. 

Effective management and inclusive mission leadership are two of the most crucial factors for the success of peace operations. The Challenges Forum’s new digital tool provides Mission Leadership Teams with accessible support to be better prepared for the complex challenges they are facing. 

Participants included Challenges Forum Partners, National Peace Operations Training Centres, and individual representatives from the UN and national entities designing and delivering Senior Mission Leadership courses and development programmes, including mentors, trainers, leadership development experts, as well as other interested participants.

The launch aimed at raising awareness of the tool and establishing it within the field of leadership support and training. The event was live-streamed from the Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA) studio in Stockholm, Sweden and participants took part in an interactive questions and answers session.
