UNOAU partners with IPSS to explore Peace Support Operations (PSOs) in Africa

The UN-AU cooperation within the context of Peace Support Operations (PSOs) was discussed in a half day briefing session with partners that was organized by the Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS). Taking place in July, this event came after UNOAU and IPSS signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) the previous moth. 

The panel included, Prof.  Henrietta Mensa-Bonsu, Director of the Legon Center for International Affairs and Diplomacy an member of the UN Highp-level Pane of Peace Operations (HIPPO); Dr. Jide Martyns Okeke, Chief, Policy Development Office at the Peace Support Operations Division of the African Union and Col. Nuredeen Kolawole Azeez, Head of Operational Planning and Advisory Section in UNOAU. Ms. Nathalie Ndongo-Seh, the Chief of Staff at UNOAU moderated the session.
