Virtual Media Briefing & Workshop on the UN-AU Joint Framework on Peace & Security: The United Nations – African Union Joint Framework for Enhanced Partnership in Peace and Security was signed on 19 April 2017, during the first United Nations (UN) - African Union (AU) Annual Conference that was held at UN Headquarters in New York. It serves as a blueprint for UN-AU work in peace and security in Africa. In this virtual gathering, media practitioners will engage with UN and AU experts on joint implementation efforts undertaken so far, the challenges and lessons learned.
