President Lajčák officially initated his two-day visit at UNOAU office where he received a briefing from the Chief of Staff
H.E. Mr. Miroslav Lajčák, President of the 72nd Session of the UN General Assembly made an official visit to Addis Ababa from 28 February to 1 March 2018.
The UNOAU Chief of Staff, Ms. Nathalie Ndongo-Seh, attended the inauguration ceremony of the African Standby Force (ASF) Continental Logistics Base on 5th January, 2018.
The Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) and Benin hosted the second meeting of the Joint Steering Committee (JSC) on the African Union (AU) Additional Support to the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) against Boko Haram in Ndjamena, Chad from 18-20 December, 2017.
