Welcome to the launch of Season 4 of the "She Stands for Peace" podcast. As we embark on this new season, we want to take you on a journey—a journey that began with a simple yet powerful vision: to amplify the voices of women who are not just witnessing history but actively shaping it.

In Season 1, we planted the seeds of conversation. We spoke with women leaders, peacebuilders, and advocates who dared to challenge the status quo in conflict zones and their communities. Their stories and lived experiences, each a testament to resilience and courage, laid the foundation for something bigger—a movement.

By Season 2, our voices grew stronger. We explored deeper themes, such as the impact of war on women's lives and the role of women in post-conflict reconstruction. We saw the ripple effects of peacebuilding: how one woman's resolve could change a village, how a community could rise from the ashes of conflict to build a future where peace isn't just the absence of war but the presence of justice, equity, and opportunity.

Season 3 took us further still. We delved into the unspoken and the unseen, shining a light on the invisible barriers that hold women back and the innovative solutions they are creating. From grassroots activists to high-level negotiators, we heard from women who are turning challenges into opportunities, building bridges where there once were walls, and crafting peace in ways that defy conventional narratives.

And now, as we launch Season 4, we invite you to join us as we continue this journey of transformation. This season, we will explore not just the stories of women on the frontlines but also the systems and structures that either enable or obstruct their efforts. Our journey has been one of learning, growing, and evolving. It has been about breaking silences, challenging stereotypes, and redefining what it means to stand for peace. But above all, it has been about you—the listeners, the supporters, and the change-makers who believe in the power of stories to inspire action. 

So today, as we launch Season 4, we honour the path we’ve walked, the voices we’ve heard, and the stories we’ve shared. And we look forward with hope and determination to the stories yet to be told. Thank you for being a part of this journey. Let's continue to stand, to speak, and to make peace—together.
