The African Union Peace and Security Council (AU PSC) and the Members of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) held their seventeenth (17^th) Annual Joint Consultative Meeting at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on 6 October 2023. The AU PSC and the Members of the UNSC, within the context of the Joint AU-UN Framework for Enhanced Partnership in Peace and Security, signed on 19 April 2017, convened to deliberate on peace and security issues.
