On 9 September, SRSG Parfait Onanga-Anyanga took part in a High-Level Dialogue organized by the UN Office for West Africa (UNOWAS), focused on exploring perspectives and options for stability in West Africa and the Sahel. The forum brought together key stakeholders to discuss pressing regional issues, including governance models, enhancing the role of political parties, leveraging water resources for diplomacy for peace and conflict resolution, and enhancing women's roles in mediation and peacebuilding.
