From 15 to 17 May, UNOAU attended a meeting on Gender mainstreaming in SSR. The meeting was organized by the AUC and took place in Port-Louis, Mauritius. The objective of the meeting was to review the learning content of the training curriculum package onGender mainstreaming in SSR. It served as a follow-up to an earlier meeting for national SSR coordination bodies to discuss the first draft of the curriculum which took place on 26 April. During the meeting in Port-Louis, participants reviewed the AUC curriculum and agreed to develop a separate facilitator’s guide which includes guidance for facilitators and teaching notes. Moving forward UNOAU will continue to engage and provide technical support to the AU in the development of its training curriculum.
