From 25 to 27 July, UNOAU in collaboration with the Department of Operational Support (DOS), supported the AU in the design and delivery of a Training of Trainers (ToT) Course in Correspondence and Report Writing. The aim of the training was to support the development of writing skills of AU personnel from the Peace Support Operations Division (PSOD) in drafting operational reports and correspondences. Prior to the training, a manual and facilitators guide on AU written communication was jointly developed and validated by the AU, UNOAU and DOS. A total of 12 trainers from the AU participated in the programme, and it is expected that they will in turn deliver the training to personnel from the RECs as well as to those deployed in the AU Peace Support Operations (PSOs).
