UNOAU provides technical support to trainers from East African Standby Force in Mentoring Programme on Compliance and Accountability
From 2 to 9 August, UNOAU in collaboration with the African Union (AU) Peace Support Operations Division and OHCHR, supported the East African Standby Force (EASF) in a mentorship programme for Senior Military and Police Officers from various Member States of the EASF. From 27 to 29 August, SRSG Parfait Onanga-Anyanga participated at the AU Member State Consultation on the Common African Position on Climate, Peace, and Security (CAP-CPS) and delivered opening remarks.
